Mold Making for Glass

My curiosity got the better of me again in the art glass studio. I have so much glass and so much of it is in small pieces. What to do with it? Sure, I could make mosaics. And, of course, I want to explore that patterned world.

But I am gripped by an urge to melt that glass, to let it seep into a mold of my making, to behold the product of form, glass and heat. But I've never made a mold. And I've never melted glass into a mold either. So this is an exploration into mold-making for glass melting.
